I have developed an online "Teaching Jazz Improvisation" Workshop for North Carolina band directors through our Distance Learning Division.  The workshop is free and offers 2 CEUs for professional development.  The workshop is intended for band directors who have little or no experience in jazz but would like to learn how to improvise and teach jazz improvisation in their schools. I have attached a PDF flyer that describes the workshop and how to register.  The first workshop is available to the first 20 band directors who register for it.
