Clinic Chairperson report: James talked about logistics, Sunday rehearsal, Concert Dress, etc.; Deadlines are in forced, will continue to revamp Online forms as necessary. Some Percussion equipment needs to be brought by student.

Minutes: Approved

Treasurer's Report: Approved, No personal checks, School, Money Orders and Band Booster checks are good.

All-State Honor Band: 2009 Auditions –March 7^th Open to any school that could host both Honors Clinic and Jazz Auditions

Scale Committee will look in to number of Octaves required in the scales and percussion requirements. A report will be given to the membership at Convention.

New Music Reading Clinic: Richard reported that it went well, thanks to those that played and conducted.

Festival Committee meeting in July, come up with Guidelines for each Grade level of Music, Adjudication sheets…

State Festival-Let your district Chair if you are interested in Attending.

Marching Band Committee: Josh Potter, Festival Proposal will be presented to NCMEA

Jazz Committee: Andy Carter, send tapes and application to perform at convention to Andy. Jazz Festivals, Middle School will be added to All-Region Clinics.

Director Retention Committee: Phillip encouraged committee members to contact Bob.

Website: Pendergrass, thanks to members that helped with site this year. A new state NCMEA website will be up soon.
