Levy Gaillard was formerly the band director at E. A. Laney High School and was elected the first Teacher of the Year for Laney in 1989; he was also the band director at North Brunswick High School in Leland, NC. Mr. Gaillard was a part-time faculty member of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington School of Music. Mr. Gaillard graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Florida A&M University and attended graduate school at the University of Kansas. Mr. Gaillard taught for over 22 years in North Carolina.
