Audition Registration
February 1 - 15, 2026

Registration will be open from February 1 through February 15. The registration form will be online. You will have to upload a copy of your NAfME card. The audition fee must be postmarked by February 15th for your student to be eligible.

While invoices are generated automatically, there may be a delay before you receive your invoice. Please keep this in mind and complete your submission several days before the deadline to allow time for the invoice to generate.

Auditions: March 7th. The snow date is March 14th. Keep both dates open on your calendar.

All-State Band Clinic: May 1-3 at UNCG

NEW! Auditions Cancellations: If an eligible student chooses not to audition, please complete the Audition Cancellation Form. Submitting the form will trigger a notification sequence to the audition chairs so the next eligible student can be notified promptly.

12:00 - Directors/Judges' Meeting
1:00 - Auditions Begin

On the day of auditions, registration is from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Directors/Judges will meet at 12:00. The auditions will begin at 1:00 p.m. Signs will be posted for the location of the meeting.
Each director is required to attend the auditions with his/her students. Please do not ask for an exception to this rule. If your student(s) show up to audition without you, they will NOT be allowed to audition. Only directors will be allowed to register their students; parents may not register their children.
Please bring your NAfME card or proof of recent payment with you to the auditions. Students will be disqualified if a director's membership is not currently paid.
