4/2/2025 - From Chris White - All-State Honors Band Clinic:

• The deadline for registering students for the All-State Honor Band Clinic is Friday, April 4. Registration is done online using this link: HONORS BAND REGISTRATION LINK. Please remember that you are required to upload a copy of the completed forms for each student in order to complete the registration. So don’t wait until the last minute to start because you’ll need students/parents to complete the forms before you can register. Copies of that form can be found here: HONORS BAND STUDENT FORMS. Bring payment with you to the clinic and turn it in at registration.

• Thank you Eddie Deaton for creating a list of registrations that have been received. CHECK HERE to see if you are on the list. If not, go back to step #1 ASAP.

• The schedule for the weekend is attached to this email. Please read it carefully and know that directors are responsible for registering students and supervising them the entire clinic weekend. Thank you, Jim Kirkpatrick, for organizing the schedule and coordinating the clinic.

• Please make sure student name spelling is accurate, as that will be used to create the concert program.

• THIS LIST will let you know if your registration has been received.

• The deadline for ensembles to apply to play for our fall conference is Sunday, May 4 at 11:59pm. This will allow time to compile the submissions, send them to the selection committee for review, and notify directors of the decision in a timely manner. This deadline corresponds to the last day of the Honors Band Clinic. Use this link to access the ENSEMBLE PERFORMANCE APPLICATION. Ensembles from all communities and all schools are encouraged to apply.

• The MPA Committee meets at Honors Band to add new pieces to the Concert Band MPA list. This is also the only time a piece can be moved to another grade level or removed from the list. The deadline to submit these requests to the committee is April 23. Use THIS LINK to submit.
