Anne Reese has been an instrumental music educator in North and South Carolina for 30 years. She currently serves as director of bands at Southwest Middle School in Charlotte, NC. A National Board Certified Teacher, Anne received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Mars Hill College and a Master’s Degree in Middle Grades Education from Belmont Abbey College.

Anne has served a South Central District President and Vice President, Secretary and Contest Chair for the North Carolina Bandmasters Association. She also served as President of the North Carolina Bandmasters Association and was a founding member of the Marching Band Committee to help establish performance standards for the marching band with the curriculum.

Anne frequently serves as a clinician and adjudicator in North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and serves on the Advisory Board for Dixie Classics Middle School Invitational Festivals. She has been selected several times to Who’s Who in American Education and Who’s Who Among American Women.
